S N Das Gupta College is located in the city of New Delhi with its branch in Srinagar. It is the only institution of its kind, which provides the coaching for various competitive examinations, university entrance examinations and seeing the existing vacuum, this dedicated educationist and pioneer in coaching sector.
Since its establishment around 2,00,000 students have passed through this college. The college has been catering to the academic and competitive needs of virtually all the important examinations conducted by the UPSC (civil services, Indian Forest & service, Indian engineering service, NDA, CDS, OTA), SSC (Customs, Excise & Income Tax Inspectors, Asst. Grade S.I.’s Police, Clerks), Public sector Undertakings (GIC, LIC) and Banks (RBI, SBI & others).
S N Das Gupta College is the first college to commence coaching for IAS in the year of 1948, for Asst. Grade in 1945 and Inspectors in the year 1972. In the year 1994 the college further added to its stature when it became the first institute to be approved by Government of India for providing coaching to the OBC’s and Minorities candidates under a new scheme.
